About beesayatv

Documenting Cebu trails, one quiet hike at a time.

beesayatv is an independent trail archive dedicated to documenting the hiking trails, backroads, waterfalls, forests, and countryside of Cebu, Philippines.

Every hike is recorded as it happened—without narration, dramatic storytelling, or unnecessary distractions. Just the sounds of nature, the trail beneath my feet, and an honest look at each route.

The goal isn’t to conquer mountains or chase famous destinations. It’s to preserve local trails before they change.

Why this exists

Many beautiful trails slowly disappear. Some become overgrown. Others are closed, rerouted, or eventually developed.

By recording these places today, future hikers can see what they once looked like and better understand how Cebu’s trail network connects. Every documented route becomes another small piece of Cebu’s outdoor history.

What you’ll find

  • Quiet hiking videos with natural ambient sound
  • Detailed trail guides
  • GPX routes whenever available
  • Interactive maps
  • Difficulty ratings
  • Trail statistics
  • Waterfalls, rivers, forests, ridges, and countryside paths
  • Practical information for independent hikers

Whether you’re looking for an easy morning walk or an all-day adventure, the goal is to help you plan with confidence.

My approach

I usually hike alone.

Not because hiking should be solitary, but because filming alone allows me to move at my own pace and capture the trail without interrupting the experience. Most videos contain no talking. I want the place—not the person behind the camera—to be the focus.

This is an ongoing archive

There are hundreds of kilometers of trails throughout Cebu, and I’ve only explored a small portion of them. Each new hike adds another connection to the growing map. Some routes are well known. Others are barely visible footpaths used only by local communities. Every documented trail helps preserve a little more of Cebu’s outdoor landscape.

If this helps you

If you use these guides or videos for your own adventures, I’m glad they were useful. Please hike responsibly, respect private property, leave no trace, and remember that trail conditions can change over time. Stay safe, enjoy the journey, and maybe discover a place you’ve never heard of before.
