The documented hike began from a roadside jump-off in Ylaya, Camp 8, which was reached via a concrete road. Motorcycle parking was available along the roadside, and no parking fee was observed during the hike. Private vehicles could access the starting point, while public transportation was limited. Habal-habal services were available.

Route Description

The route begins with a gradual climb through farmland and rolling hills, with the elevation gain spread steadily across the trail rather than concentrated in steep sections. The hike continues to the highest point before returning along the same countryside paths.

The return is generally easier, although a few rolling sections remain along the route. The trail is non-technical and follows a straightforward path throughout.

Trail Conditions

Conditions during the documented hike were sunny and dry. The trail was dry at the time but can become muddy after rain. The opening section was shaded, while most of the route was exposed. No stores were encountered along the trail.

Mobile signal was strong near the trailhead before becoming weak or disappearing farther along the route. At least 2 liters of water was recommended. Few insects and low foot traffic were observed during the hike.

The trail passes through farmland and is not considered isolated.
